Charter Group Notice From: Hollyjean Allen Some of you were involved in the block exchange last summer. We each made freindship blocks with batiks. Our dear quilting friend, Zhu Juran has offered to let us use her land to have a show of the quilts made from these blocks, and other quilts you might like to share So,if you're like me, you haven't finished the quilt, here is some motivation. We need photographs of your quilt in SL by April 6th, 2008! This will be a fun show. First Ever Quilt show in SL reported by Paisley J February 12, 2008 Guess what? The Quilters in SL are hosting the very FIRST Quilt show in SL! Hollyjean has done an amazing job as the quilt show chair. Here are a few of the RL quilts that the Quilters in SL gave Hollyjean to ‘hang’ in the exhibit.
And these are just a few of the other quilts. Come and see the whole exhibit of about 30 quilts. We quilters in SL are very proud to share our work with you! After visiting the show come see my studio at Aurifil land. Aurifil is a thread company from Italy that has provided a nifty little farm house site for the thread. Day was March 15 ...and the Quilters in SL came out IN STYLE to celebrate! hosted 3 groups at Aurifiland.
Feb 08 The Quilt Show of Mythica
This show will be on display for about two months. The goal is to offer people a learning experience about quilts and quilting. By displaying both modern and antique quilts A special Grand Opening of the exhibit will be held on a date yet to be determined, I hope that you agree that this is a fabulous opportunity and I hope that you will participate. Let's have some fun and share our love of quilts and quiltling with SL!

.. on AurifilLand We had a gathering of quilters tonight.. so FUN to meet new friends . Pat Sloan and Aurifil hosted the meeting … and we gave away 2 prizes of ‘REAL LIFE’ items!!! Prizes won by Audrey and MayliDid you notice all the hats? Someone had one on, and Mayli had more to give away… everyone wore a Santa’s helper hat and it was all so festive.
