      blanket stitch appliqué

Cotton Mako' 28

If you enjoy appliqué you will also appreciate the good coverage and appearance achieved by using the Makò 28 for machine or hand blanket stitch work

Cotton Mako' 12

Suitable for decorative buttonhole or Blanket stitch appliqué by hand or machine, Makò 12 is very thick and requires a large eye topstitch needle size 90/14. The most important thing to keep in mind here is uniformity, try to keep your stitches even, both in length as well as the spacing between stitches.

needle turned appliqué

Cotton Mako' 50

As the name suggests, you use your needle to turn under a 3/16" seam as you stitch along by hand. This is the traditional method used by generations of quilters. Use a short length of Cotton 50 to avoid knots and makes stitches approx 1/8" apart.
