This Privacy Policy describes how Aurifil USA Inc. (“Aurifil,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Aurifil mobile application (the “App”). For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “you” and “your” means you as a user of the App.

Information We Collect

The App does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share your personal information.

The App does not require an account and does not use advertising, behavioral tracking, or analytics services.

Information Stored on Your Device

Information you create in the App, including thread inventory, quantities, wishlist entries, projects, and custom lists, is stored locally on your device.

Aurifil does not receive or have access to this information. Your locally stored App data remains on your device until you modify or delete it, or remove the App. Device backups are governed by your Apple and iCloud settings.

Data Export

If you choose to export information from the App, such as a CSV file of your thread inventory, the export is initiated by you using Apple’s system sharing features.

Once you choose a destination for exported information, its handling is subject to the privacy practices of that destination or service.

Third-Party Services

The App does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking services.

Apple may independently process certain information in connection with the App Store, TestFlight, device backups, or other Apple services. Apple’s handling of that information is governed by Apple’s own privacy policies.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes to the App, our practices, or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised Privacy Policy and update the “Last updated” date.
